Cindy is a very trustful person. She trusts to everyone and especially to her husband William. They are married for three years already and they are still very happy and adore each other. Last two years Cindy dreamed to visit Bali – an island in the Indian Ocean. It was some kind of her dream. But all the time she and her husband delayed the trip. Either for a reason of William’s working or just having financial problems. And last year they had to refuse from the journey because of illness of Cindy’s father. But two weeks ago Cindy has found two tickets to Christmas Eve to the island of their dream. She couldn’t believe her eyes. Finally they would go to the island and get impressed of its beauty. She believed William just decided to make a surprise for her, the best surprise in her life. So, she decided not to tell to William that she knew about the surprise. She wanted that he would see the surprise on her face. So, she just put the tickets back and patiently waited for the moment. But she wanted to be prepared for the vacation. She didn’t want to buy all necessary stuff in a last moment and pack her clothes in haste. So, she opened her favorite online store where she usually makes purchase and has a discount card. She bought everything she was needed and in spite of having the discount card she spent rather big money. Two days before Christmas Eve she got nervous because William was still keeping silent about the Bali trip, but she kept waiting. On the next day when William came back home Cindy was ready to hear wonderful Christmas news about going to Bali. But instead of it she has heard a little bit different, something she didn’t expect at all. William said that Christmas Eve they would meet separately, because he would have to go to business trip to New York City. Cindy couldn’t say a word. It supposed to mean he was going to spend the vacation with someone else. It was a really “surprise” for Cindy, because she was sure their marriage was perfect. She said that he could go to New York or Bali or somewhere else and there is no necessity to come back home. This terrible situation made Cindy feel as worse as she has never felt, but it could help her to put off rose-colored glasses and accept the world more clearly.
